BEIJING, Nov 7 Reuters China39;s exports to Russia in October rose 24.4 from a year earlier, the fastest pace since November last year, Chinese customs data showed on Thursday, as Beijing affirmed strong ties with Moscow.
The increase was higher than the 15.7 gain in September.
China39;s imports from Russia, however, fell 4.3 last month from a year earlier, narrowing from the decline of 9.2 in September, as payment issues disrupted trade transactions.
In a talk with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko last month, China39;s Foreign Minister Wang Yi reiterated China and Russia39;s strong relations, that were not affected by changes in the international situation.
In the first 10 months of 2024, ChinaRussia twoway trade value has hit 1.4 trillion yuan, up 4 yearonyear, the customs data showed.
In dollar terms, China39;s twoway trade with Russia reached 202.2 billion in the first 10 months, up 2.8 from the same period a year earlier, the data showed.
